I’m Kristin, a self-proclaimed city girl living a decidedly more rural life with my husband, daughter, and a black cat named Boo in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia – or as I like to spin it, the far western suburbs of Washington, D.C.
You’ve stumbled upon What She Said, an often sarcastic, occasionally poignant, frequently self-deprecating, but always heartfelt “niche-less” blend of family, life, and humor. Because if I didn’t laugh, I’d cry.
I write this blog because I feel it’s my best expression of self. Ask me to articulate my thoughts via the spoken word and I’m pretty much a hot mess.
Writing is also my creative outlet and the only way I’ve found to at least quiet, if not completely silence my mouthy, obnoxious, and thoroughly self-centered inner monologue. Bitch seriously never shuts up.
